Singapore Events: AFP & Winning Strategies

The first Associate Financial Planner (AFP) certification program will make it’s way to Singapore shore this November 2014. This program is for the OFW’s who are serious about financial planning and would like to be certified by the country’s most respected and recognized financial planning institute, the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) Philippines.
Course Outline
– Rudiments of Personal Finance
– Behavioral Finance
– Introduction to Investments
– Introduction to Insurance
– Time Value of Money
– Introduction to Stock Market investing

I am a public school teacher. I was a part of the corporate world for 7 years prior to joining DepEd. When I joined the rank of teachers I realized that things I know about personal finance is never taught in school so I really never wonder why even teachers themselves are into huge debts. I wanna change this.
Recently, I was given one whole day to talk to 118 public school teachers in our district. Huge part of my discussion came from your NO NONESENSE Finance book and things I learned when I joined your Seminar in CDEo with Marvin Germo last August 17, 2014. Still there is a lot to be done and I want to help my fellow teachers regarding this. What better way to do that other than to really be certified.
I really wish you can hold a certification program like this in Cagayan De Oro. I am from Pagadian City and CDO is the city nearest to me that you have already visited. Hopefully, next year you can include Mindanao in your tour because we need it so much.
