Best performing Mutual Funds in the last 3 years

Before we get overwhelmed with the numbers, I wish to reiterate that while important, historical returns are not the only factor that you should consider in selecting a mutual fund. As they say, past performance is never an indication of future performance. A fund manager who has a riskier preference will most likely have a fund with better yields as compared to one who’s a bit more mo
while the information maybe factual, i think it does not represent an accurate and comprehensive picture of mutual fund investments simply because it just highlights the “best” years yields were generated. the last 5-year period (or even 7) would be a better timeline, as it will also show 2008/2009, which resulted to negative growth.. seeing this 3-year performance with attractive returns might give a newbie investor the impression that investing in mutual funds (or even in equities) will always yield such returns, which obviously is quite misleading/untrue.
I agree with you Dennis A. The last 5 – 7 years are good indicators.
The 5 year results are likewise positive, considering the negative impact of 2008 and 2009. I will be posting the 5 year results in a few days as well. 5 years
what i meant was, a 5 or 7-year period showing the annual yield (not cumulative) would have painted a much clearer and more objective picture especially for the newbie investors as this will show that not every year will produce a positive growth.. @bel cadiente, thanks for agreeing with me 🙂

For the annual yield, most of these are available on your Fund Management prospectus and if you are attending the MF annual shareholder’s meeting, you can get the info there.
